Requirements:
The main focus of any Mall manager’s job is to improve the commercial performance of the mall by increasing its turnover and maximising profitability. Achieving performance objectives will require action in one of the main areas of mall activity: mall operations, human resources; finance, customer care; marketing, logistics, information technology, and administration.
Coordinate marketing efforts; lease administration and marketing communications
Explore new business opportunities
Evaluate policies, systems and procedures
Render prompt and efficient service to investor and (potential) tenants
Coordinate and conduct lease negotiations and close deals
Hiring, training and evaluation of staff
Liaison with key owner’s representative, owner(s), project mangers and architects
Prefer to have the Asia experience ( Singapore, Malaysia, Japanese, Philippino)
Skills :
Customer focus, drive and enthusiasm, excellent communication
Interpersonal skills, the ability to grasp new concepts quickly and generate fresh and innovative ideas
The ability to multi-task; entrepreneurial flair with good risk assessment skills
Well-developed commercial awareness
An aptitude for teamwork, genuine leadership and management skills
The ability to work in an environment that is often pressurised.
Maintaining awareness of market trends in the shopping industry
Understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing
Be able to set up a team to operate a mall
Be fully in charge of mall operating independently
Be able to co-ordinate with internal & external dept.
